..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to act upon the Petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2024 conduct a detailed survey, measure and identify the petitioner's property and demarcate its boundaries upon serving due notice to 2nd Respondent and in the event of any encroachment made by the 2nd Respondent, issue a detailed report of such encroachment with descriptive sketches.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 1st respondent to survey his property situated in Survey No.706/2A at Korattur village, Ambattur taluk measuring to an extent of 1860 Sq.feet.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property having purchased the same under a registered sale deed dated 05.08.2009. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.07.2024 to 1st respondent seeking survey of the above said land with reference to title deeds and the same has not been considered. Hence, he is before this Court.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the 1st respondent, submitted that the petitioner has not submitted any online application for survey of the property and if any such application is filed, the same will be considered in accordance with law. 2/4

In view of the same, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to direct the petitioner to submit an online application seeking survey of his property and pay necessary charges within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If any such application is filed, the 1st respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such online application after issuing necessary notice to the 2nd respondent.
