ORDER
This writ petition has been fled for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant agricultural service connection to the well situated at Survey No.131/2B of Onnagarai Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, by giving effect to the proceedings of the 3 rd respondent dated 22.10.2021.

The learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents based on instructions submitted that the petitioner was insisting for laying a transformer, which was objected by the rival party and therefore, the respondents were not able to proceed further to give electricity service
connection to the well.

In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner has not approached this Court for erecting any transformer. The petitioner has only sought for the grant of agricultural electricity service connection to the well situated in 131/2B. Therefore, this writ petition will confine itself only to that service connection and taking note of the proceedings of the 3 rd respondent dated 22.10.2021, there shall be a direction to the 4 th respondent to act upon the same and grant agricultural electricity connection to the well, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
