This Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities 1 to 3 to act upon the representations dated 05.06.2025, 06.07.2025 and 10.07.2025 submitted by the petitioners seeking reduction of qualifying percentile for admission into super specialty medical courses 2024-25 in NEET SS-2024 and consequently, direct the respondents 4 to 6 not to surrender the super specialty medical seats to the respondents 1 to 3, till the orders passed by the respondents 1 to 3 for reduction of qualifying marks for admission into super specialty course 2024-25, and conducting the special round of counseling by the respondents 5 and 6 and pass such further orders. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that because of the higher qualifying percentile, in-service candidates find it difficult to get admission in Super Specialty courses under the in service quota. He would further submit that there are many unfilled seats in the quota allotted to the Tamil Nadu. Hence, the petitioners have sent various representations to reconsider the qualifying percentile for selection. The representations dated dated 05.06.2025, 06.07.2025 and 10.07.2025 are pending before the 1st respondent.
