By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1 st and 2 nd Respondent to conduct a survey of the petitioner's lands comprised in survey Nos.63/1B, 59/2A1, 59/2A2 and 59/2A3, situated at Kunnathur Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, with the assistance of the 3 rd Respondent.

3.It is submitted by Ms.R.Geethalakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the land comprised in survey Nos.63/1B, 59/2A1, 59/2A2 and 59/2A3, patta No.267, situated at Kunnathur Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District. 3.1.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the revenue records in the form of patta and chitta is in the petitioner's name. Petitioner submitted an application for conducting a survey on 10.06.2025 and the same is stated to be pending.
4.On this being pointed out, Mr.S.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation and survey the subject property, within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5.It is further submitted by the learned Government Pleader that in case police protection is required, they would request the 3 rd respondent. When this was pointed out, the learned Government Advocate, Mr.R.Kishore Kumar appearing for the 3 rd respondent would submit that if any such request is made, adequate police protection will be granted.

6.In view thereof, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.06.2025 and survey the subject property and complete the process within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any. It is open to respondents 1 and 2 to request for police protection before the 3 rd respondent. If any such request is made, the 3 rd respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection for conducting the survey. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the respondents concerned to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
