This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has filed this petition to direct the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.
