ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The habeas corpus petition has been filed by the father of the detenu seeking direction to the respondent to produce his son viz.,Pandiyarajan, aged about 29 years, before the Court. 2.The petitioner is the father of the detenu viz., Pandiyarajan. respondent has registered a case in Crime No.3386 of 2015 on 27.09.2015 for man missing.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instruction, submits that the detenu was a habitual drunkard. Even on the earlier two occasions, he was missing and found. Now the investigation reveals that the whereabouts of the detenu is not known.
4. We are not inclined to keep the matter pending. Suffice it to give a direction to the respondents to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We may also note that the detenu is 29 years old at the time of missing.
5. With the above direction, the habeas corpus petition stands disposed of.
