Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to depute a surveyor to measure the petitioner's property situated at No.7/2, Palvanatham Village, K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District, within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to depute a surveyor to measure the petitioner's property comprised in survey No.7/2 situated at Palvanatham Village, K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District, within a stipulated time.

2. Heard, Mr.A.Anusuya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner filed an application on 27.07.2020 to measure the land comprised in survey No.7/2 situated at Palvanatham Village, K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District, before the second respondent. The petitioner also paid requisite fee to measure the subject property.

4. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to survey and measure the property comprised in survey No.7/2 situated at Palvanatham Village, K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District, after issuance of notice to the counter parties and adjacent land owners, if any and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
