The Application is taken out for payment of fees to the Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Official Assignee.

2. The Official Assignee has already filed Application Nos.164 of 2016 and 223 of 2016, which was allowed on 11.10.2022. The Learned Counsel appearing for the Official Assignee has sought for fees of Rs.75,000/- and Rs.50,000/- respectively.

3. Perusal of the record reveals that, this Court vide order dated 30.04.2021 made the following order:- "Learned counsel representing Official Assignee has filed a Memo seeking fixation of his fee for the cases attended by him as below:- Rs.15,000/-: For Non contested exparte matters and Rs.35,000/-: For contested matters.

2. Considering the volume of work involved in this matter, the fee for the leaned counsel representing the Official Assignee is fixed as below:

Non contesting/ Ex-parte cases - Rs. 15,000/- Page No.1/3

Contesting Cases - Rs.30,000/-

3. Registry shall accept the cost memo filed as mentioned above".

4. The Learned Counsel for the Official Assignee has submitted two letters dated 13.10.2022 and 20.11.2022 for enhancement of fees which appears to be reasonable. Since some of the matter is pending for more than six years, appropriate revision is due. Therefore, from 01.01.2023, the Learned Official Assignee shall be paid fees of Rs.35,000/- in case of non-contesting exparte matters and Rs.60,000/- for contesting matters.

5. In so far as Application (IP) No.181 of 2023 concern, same is disposed of recording the new fees structure will be applicable from 01.01.2023. (Dr.G.J, J.) & (C.V.K, J.) 23.08.2023 bsm Page No.2/3
