ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the notice dated 31.07.2024 issued by the fourth respondent, thereby called upon the petitioner to participate in the meeting to be held on 09.08.2024 at 11.00 a.m.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that notice was sent to the petitioner with an agenda to be discussed in the meeting to be held on 09.08.2024 at 11.00 a.m. Now, the meeting has been convened and a resolution was passed. Therefore, challenging the very notice would serve no purpose and the prayer sought for in this writ petition has became infructuous. If at all the petitioner has any grievance over the resolution, the petitioner can very well file an appeal before the first respondent in the manner known to law. Thus, the writ petition lacks merits and it is liable to be dismissed.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that already the petitioner challenged the minutes before the first respondent by way of representation.

5. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, after giving an opportunity of hearing to him and dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. 28.08.2024 Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order Lpp To 1.The District Collector, Thiruvallur District, Thiruvallur.
