This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Cr. No.165 of 2019 on the file of the Central Crime Branch, Team 15, Vepery, Chennai - 600007 and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners has filed a memo stating that the de facto complainant died on 30.10.2020 due to Covid.

3. Since the defacto complainant is no more, the first respondent police has to further enquire as to whether the nature of offence would need further investigation. Hence, the first respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
