ORDER

The petitioner is the husband. He has filed HMOP No.701 of 2019 for dissolution of marriage. The said petition has been subsequently renumbered as HMOP No.73 of 2023 and the same is pending before Sub Court, Arakonam.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. Considering that the revision petitioner/husband has filed the petition seeking dissolution of marriage more than five years, ago and also considering the facts that pleadings are complete and trial is yet to commence, I am inclined to allow the revision directing the Sub Judge, Arakonam to dispose of HMOP No.74 of 2023 on merits and in accordance with law on or before 31.12.2025.

4. With the above direction, the civil revision petition is allowed. No costs.
