Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of CR.P.C., to direct the first respondent to give suitable instructions to the third respondent to conduct a thorough and proper investigation into the cause of death of the petitioner's younger sister, Deepika in Crime No.337 of 2017 under his supervision and to take appropriate action against the persons responsible for the death of petitioner's younger sister. O R D E R

In continuation of the order passed by this Court dated 01.07.2022, the Superintendent of Police, Namakkam is present and filed a status report informing the Court that the

investigation in this case was completed on 10.10.2020 and RCS.No.23 of 2020 was duly served on complaint/Nirmala, the sister of the deceased.

However, this Court fails to understand or comprehend if it is true and correct, why the police has not reported it to this Court when the matter was heard on 06.11.2020 or on the subsequent hearing on 24.06.2022 and 01.07.2022. The history of the case already been extracted by this Court vide order dated 01.07.2022, there is no worth in repeating this again. Since the police has decided to close the complaint and filed referred charge sheet, it is open to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. The copy of the RCS shall be again furnish to the petitioner within 3 days. The respondent police, on furnishing the copy, shall get the appropriate acknowledgement for that. If the petitioner choose to file the Protest Petition, the Court below shall not stand on technicalities of delay and entertain the same, in accordance with law based on its merits.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
