PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner .

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction not to harass the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, the petitioner was working as Technical Manager in the District Survey Office, Namakkal. Alleging that she tampered some revenue records, a Departmental enquiry has been initiated and the petitioner was also suspended from his service. Subsequently, the 2nd respondent/Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department has been conducting preliminary enquiry from the year 2019, and nearly two years, they are harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and asking the petitioner to appear https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

regularly. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that only for the purpose of enquiry, the petitioner was called for by the 2nd respondent and they will complete the enquiry within a period of two months.

4. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two months from today. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry and appear before the respondent police as and when required.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
