ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.676 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police, as illegal.

2. Heard Mr.J.Aswin Raj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mr.S.Silambuselvan, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police on instructions would submit that in respect to the petition mentioned Crime Number, i.e. Crime No.676 of 2017, the first respondent police had completed the investigation and filed a Final Report on 03.03.2020 for an offence punishable under Section 306 of IPC before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu. The said submission is recorded.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu, is directed to assign with the case number immediately and complete the case, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
