PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the respondent's Inspector of Police, Sholavaram and Superintendent of Police, Thiruvallur to produce minor child namely Madhan aged about 15 years before this Court as soon as possible. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.Sathyanarayanan,J.] The petitioner is the senior father of the detenu. According to him, he was studying 10th standard and was found missing from 31.08.2017 and in this regard, he lodged a complaint on the file of the 1st respondent, based on which a case in Cr.No.657 of 2017 was registered for ''Boy Missing'' and the petitioner apprehending safety and well being of the minor detenu, came forward to file this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. The Habeas Corpus Petition was entertained on 14.09.2017 and when the matter is listed today, the detenu is produced before this Court and on enquiry, he would state that on his own https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

volition, he left for Coimbatore and employed in a Lathe shop and now, he expressed his willingness to go with his senior father / detenu and he is also interested in continuing his studies.

3. The petitioner is also present before this Court and he would state that he will take care of the minor detenu well and prevail upon him to pursue his academic career.

4. In the light of the fact that the detenu expresses his willingness to go with the petitioner, no further adjudication is required in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
