The Official Trustee has filed the instant application seeking permission to deposit a sum of Rs.3,74,569/- as corpus amount in the Trust Estate of Baindur Krishna Rao.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Official Trustee filed his detailed report dated 17.08.2023. 3.
According to the Official Trustee, one Baindur Krishna Rao executed a trust deed dated 09.05.1931 in favour of the Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu; the terms of the said trust have been set out in para VIII of the trust deed; the trust estate of Baindur Krishna Rao is being administered by the office of the Official Trustee; the trust deed contemplates payment of scholarships in the name of "Sundaraloo Krishna Rao Baindur Scholarship" to two students pursuing MBBS course in the Madras Medical College; as per Para VIII (E)(A) of the trust deed, if there is any surplus after awarding scholarship or if no scholarship is awarded, then, the surplus amount shall be accumulated and added to the corpus fund of the trust estate; while so, one Krishna Sheshagiri Kaikini, the grandson of Baindur Krishna Rao had executed a will dated 30.10.2006 appointing his nephew Gautam N. cad Bilawala has transferred a sum of Rs.3,74,569/- on 08.06.2022 towards the corpus fund of the trust estate of Baindur Krishna Rao by RTGS to the account of the Official Trustee; hence, the Official Trustee may be permitted to deposit the said amount in the corpus fund of the trust estate of Baindur Krishna Rao.
Considering the detailed report dated 17.08.2023 of the learned Official Trustee and the submissions made by him, this application is ordered as prayed for.
