ORDER

[Order of the court was made by M.VENUGOPAL.J.,] The Petitioner, which is a Scheduled Tribes Employees Welfare Association of Chennai Port Trust, challenges the circulars issued by the Respondent in No.SCT2/1528/98/S dated 20.06.1998 and No.SCT2/Ari.8190/2004/S dated 24.09.2004.

2. Today, when the Writ Petition has come up for hearing, the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that he received instructions from the Petitioner to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement in the Writ Petition to that effect.

3. Recording the above said fact and the endorsement so made, the present Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The interim stay granted by this court on 10.11.2004 in WPMP No.39548 of 2004 shall stand vacated and the WPMP is closed.
