ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioners.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioners that without providing any information with regard to the complaint received against the

petitioners herein, the respondent is frequently calling the petitioners over phone to come to Salem for enquiry. Apprehending harassment and threat from the respondent police, the petitioners have filed this Criminal Original Petition for the above stated relief.

3. On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that there was no complaint received against the first petitioner herein. He further submitted that insofar as the second petitioner is concerned, he is required for completion of enquiry.

4. In view of the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court, in order to give quietus to the issue involved herein, directs the second petitioner to appear before the respondent police on 21.06.2017, on which date, necessary enquiry be conducted, without causing unnecessary harassment to the petitioners.
