ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.RC MAI 2011A0046 of 2011.

2. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner has been shown as accused in Crime No.RC MAI 2011A0046 of 2011. Further it is averred in the petition that no materials are found so as to proceed further against the petitioner. Under such circumstances, present petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

3. On the basis of the relief sought in the present petition, a report has been called for from XIII Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai and accordingly, a report has been submitted, wherein it is stated that the respondent has filed a final report and the same has been taken on file in Calendar Case No.17 of 2013. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the fact that already a final report has been filed and the same has been taken on file in Calendar Case No.17 of 2013, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous. Further, there is no representation on the side of the petitioner. Therefore, the present petition deserves to be dismissed.
