ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to appoint an investigation officer not below the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police other than the present Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mylapore and transfer the investigation from the 2nd respondent in Crime.No.826 of 2017 and further to direct the newly appointed investigation officer to conduct the enquiry in the said Cr.No along with the complaint made by the petitioners dated 02.06.2017 and complete the investigation and file a final report within a stipulated time frame.

2. The Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the charge sheet has already been filed before the Learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.12361 of 2018.

3. In view of the submission made by the Learned Government Advocate, nothing survives in this petition. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
