ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the case in C.C.No.22 of 2021 pending before the Judicial Magistrate, Sholinghur, Ranipet District and transfer the same to the Judicial Magistrate Court, Katpadi, Vellore District.

2.At the outset, this Court is of the view that this petition for transfer is not maintainable under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Further, it is seen that the

petitioner seeks for transfer from Ranipet to Vellore District. Admittedly, both these Districts are not so distant from each other. In fact, previously, both the Districts were under a same District namely Vellore and thereafter, it was trifurcated. If at all the petitioner wants transfer of her case to the other District, the remedy available to her is to file appropriate petition under the relevant provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure. 3.Hence, this petition is dismissed.
