ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to give the Motor Vehicles Report of the vehicle (T.N.72 H 8989 and TVS 50, T.N.3558xx), which was involved in accident 29.01.2012 at Thenkalavai Kootroad and in Crime No. 66 of 2012 to the petitioner.
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
The learned Additional Public Prosecution appearing for the respondent would submit that the vehicle mentioned in the petition has not been chased by the respondent police. Therefore, there is no question of furnishing the copy of motor vehicle inspection report. Therefore, the petition is devoid of merits.

Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
