No.1 of 2019 in C.A.No.121 of 2019 in Crime No.607 of 2013 order dated 04.07.2019, on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Salem and direct the petitioner to produce the normal sureties instead of official sureties or any other order.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for modification of the condition imposed by the Court below while suspending the sentence imposed against the petitioner by the trial Court. 2.The Court below while suspending the sentence imposed by the trial Court had imposed the condition to the effect that the petitioner will execute a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- with two official sureties each for a like sum.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not in a position to comply with the said condition and therefore the condition imposed by the Court below may be modified. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is willing to offer one surety who will be a blood relative.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by the Court below is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties for a like sum out of which one surety shall be a blood relative and the other surety can be a local surety.
