This petition has been filed for seeking to cancel the bail granted to the respondent herein by the learned II Additional Sessions Judge, Puducherry in Crl.M.P.No.2/2017 in Cr.No.33 of 2017 of D' Nagar Police Station dated 11.05.2017.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the main case itself, the petitioner-Police has completed the investigation in Crime No.33 of 2017 and filed a final report before the II Additional Sessions Judge, Puducherry. This matter has been taken cognizance in S.C.No.10 of 2019 and the same was ended in acquittal by an order dated 18.11.2019. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
