Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records relating to Petitioner's husband detention under the prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 vide detention order dated 16.07.2024 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings No.04/Black Marketing Act/2024 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said Petitioner's husband, namely, MARIYAPPAN, AGED 46 YEARS, SON OF ARUNACHALAM, before this Court and set him at liberty, now Petitioner's husband detained at Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai 600 066.

ORDER

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.

2.In view of the above submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
