The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.05.2025 in connection with Crime No.278 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 109, 329(4), 351(3) of BNS [ 307, 427 and 506(ii) of IPC @ 307,148, 273, 120(b) of IPC on the file of the respondent police seeks bail. 1/4

The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is working as a collection agent in a Finance Company and there arose a prior enmity between the defact complainant and A4 and his relatives and therefore, A4 approached other accused including the petitioner for murdering the defacto complainant and on the date of occurrence, all the accused trespassed into the defacto complainant's house and attacked him using knife, due to which, defacto complainant sustained grievous injuries. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) while opposing for grant of bail to the petitioner reiterated the case of the prosecution. He further submitted that, apart from this case, petitioner has 36 previous cases. 2/4

5. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
