O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.172/2023 registered at Parangipettai Police Station to the CBCID or any other competent independent agency and direct the said respondents to take effective steps on the complaints and representations dated 30.07.2023 and 27.04.2024 with regard to the video and photographs evidence and list of assailants provided by the petitioner against all the accused persons involved in the offence.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-Police, on instructions, submitted that investigation in 2/5
Crime No.172 of 2023 is over and final report has been filed through e-filing on 23.03.2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Parangipettai.

Considering the facts and circumstances and also taking note of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the view that since the investigation in Crime No.172 of 2023 has been completed and final report has also been filed before the jurisdictional Court, there is no necessity to transfer the investigation from the file of the fourth respondent-Police to any other investigating agency. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner know to law, if he is aggrieved with the final report filed by the respondents-Police.
5. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
