2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in the result portion, instead of quashing the C.C., it has been typed as closed.
3. After second paragraph, order, dated 11/11/2021, reads as follows:-
3. A perusal of the materials would indicate that parties have arrived at a settlement and Memorandum of Settlement has also been filed along with typed set of papers.
4. Considering the fact that the husband/first petitioner and wife/second respondent have settled their dispute, continuing the prosecution against the Page No:1/2
petitioners is an abuse of process of law.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and C.C.No.69 of 2017, pending on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai, is quashed. Memorandum of Settlement shall form part of the records."
