ORDER

This petition has been filed to extend the time to execute bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties in Crl.M.P.No.1989 of 2023 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri, dated 19.06.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to sudden demise of his father, the petitioner is unable to comply with the conditional order made by the Principal Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri, in a prescribed time. Therefore, he prays for extension of time to surrender and execute the sureties.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner failed to surrender and execute the sureties within the time stipulated by the Court below.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the time to execute the sureties as directed in the order dated 19.06.2023 in Crl.M.P.No.1989 of 2023 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge,

Krishnagiri, is extended till 18.09.2023 with following condition: "the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.12,500/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand Five Hundred only) in the concerned Crime No.129 of 2023 of Berigai Police Station, on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate No.I, Hosur, and on such deposit it is hereby ordered that the petitioner in the event of his arrest by the respondent police or on his surrender before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate No.I, Hosur, shall be enlarged on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties on or before 18.09.2023, for a like sum to the satisfaction of the above said Judicial Magistrate, failing which, the order passed by the Court below shall stand automatically cancelled".
