Santhosh ..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 3rd respondent police to produce the petitioner's daughter viz., Harini, daughter of Venkatesan, aged about 19 years, before this Court from the custody of the respondents 4 to 6 and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent/police to produce the petitioner's daughter viz., Harini, daughter of Venkatesan, aged about 19 years, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before this Court from the custody of the respondents 4 to 6 and set her at liberty.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Harini, aged about 19 years, who is studying B.Sc.Computer Science, went missing from 22.11.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

3.Today P.Raman (Mobile No.94981 51226), Head Constable - 1426, Cheyyar Police Station, Thiruvannamalai District, is present.

4.On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner a case in Cheyyar Police Station Crime No.865 of 2021 has been registered on 22.11.2021 for 'woman missing' and during the course of investigation, it came to light that the detenue Harini was in love with Sachin, third respondent herein and has got married to him on 22.11.2021.

Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
