This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in S.C.No.212 of 2016 on the file of Mahila Court, Chennai and to quash the same.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the main case in S.C.No.212 of 2016 has been disposed of and the same ended in conviction and even in the Appeal, the order in S.C.No.212 of 2016 on the file of Mahila Court, Chennai has also been confirmed.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
