O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.08.2021.

2.It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaint before the respondents on 20.08.2021 and the same is still pending without any progress.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the the petitioner lodged a complaint on 20.08.2020 before the respondents. Thereafter, the said complaint was transfered to Economic Offences Wing, Chennai on 03.11.2021 and the same was pending.

4.In view of the same, the Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai is directed to conduct an enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents and dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
