This petition has been filed to call for the records in connection with the F.I.R in Crime No.1079/2013 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same as against the petitioner.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had borrowed money from the defacto complainant at an interest rate and not repaid the same. When the defacto complainant demanded the money, the petitioner had threatened him. Hence, the complaint was registered.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the defacto complainant is a money lender and the petitioner had borrowed money from the defacto complainant. Thereafter, there seems to be some dispute with regard to return of amount. When the money was questioned by the defacto complainant, the petitioner had threatened and abused the defacto complainant. There are two others cases in similar nature, in which, investigation was completed and the charge sheet is to be filed within a short period.

4. In view of the above submission, nothing survives

for adjudication in this petition. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
