ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the respondents to stop selling the house site plot in Survey Nos.79, 80 to an extent of 347173.20 sq.ft at Dhiwakar Nagar, Thozhuthalankudi Panchayat, Kuthalam Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2022.

2. Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, accepting notice on behalf of the first respondent, sought eight weeks time to consider the petitioner's representation.

3. Considering the nature of relief sought for, without going into the merits, we direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's

representation dated 25.08.2022 on merits and pass appropriate orders, after issuing notice to the affected parties and after affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. There is no order as to costs.
