O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 10.4.2015 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Anitha on the allegation of cheating. Though the said complaint was given on 10.04.2015, for the past eight months, no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition was filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, C.S.R.No.264/2015 was assigned and the enquiry is pending.

5. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner in C.S.R.No.264/2015 and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.

6. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
