ORDER

This writ petition has been challenged the following orders:- a) The order dated 21.12.2017 passed by the second respondent suspending the petitioner from service on account of criminal charges pending against him and b) The order dated 29.10.2019 passed by the second respondent extending the earlier suspension.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would now submit, on instructions, that the petitioner would be satisfied if he is allowed to give a representation to the second respondent, requesting for revocation of his suspension and a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law in terms of G.O.Ms.No.81 dated 04.08.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if such a 2/4

direction is issued by this Court.

Accordingly, this court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent requesting for revocation of the orders dated 21.12.2017 and 29.10.2019 referred to supra within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the representation, the second respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law in the light of G.O.Ms.No.81 dated 04.08.2022 within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
