(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) A grievance alleged to be against the fifth respondent of having given illegal water connection is sought to be given the colour of a public interest litigation. There are allegations also of misappropriation, for which the petitioner, if he so chooses, can trigger the proceedings under the Criminal Law. 2.The issue of unauthorised connection can be verified by the respondent authorities.

3.We are not inclined to issue any specific directions beyond this.

4.Writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
