Heard Mr.K.R.Neelambar, learned Senior Counsel is appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambi Durai, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents and with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal . 2.In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks for directing

the second respondent to dispose of his Application dated 07.02.2015, for issuing patta in his favour for the lands situate at Seyyanthal Village, Comprised in Survey No.152/1A admeasuring 0.30 cents, Survey No.152/1A admeasuring 0.30 cents, Survey No.152/2 admeasuring 0.21 Cents, Survey No.152/1B admeasuring 0.03 Cents and Survey No.152/1C admeasuring 0.01 cents, totalling 54 Cents, Chetpet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

3.The petitioner would state that pursuant to the order passed by the Tahsildar, Mr.Balakrishnan, Sub-Inspector, has measured the properties on 27.11.2015, fixed the boundary stones and submitted a report to the Tahsildar. The said report was considered and the Tahsildar has given his approval on 23.12.2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that inspite of such approval having been granted, the second respondent has not passed any orders, so as to enable the petitioner to obtain patta.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader submits that sufficient time may be granted to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's Application.

5.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's Application dated 07.02.2015, take note of the approval granted by the Tahsildar on the report submitted by the Sub-Inspector dated 27.11.2015, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
