PRAYER Directing the respondents to issue Site Visit Certificate to the petitioner as per the application of the petitioner dated 08.07.2025 in order to submit his bids through online on or before 15.07.2025, 3.00 PM in respect of Tender Notice Tender Notification in e-Tender Notice No. 12/2024- 2025 / dated 05.06.2025 on the file of the 1 st respondent for the work viz. S1. No.1 Construction of New Devotees Rest House in Arulmigu Arunachaleswarar Tirukkovil in Tiruvannamalai.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue a Site Visit Certificate to the petitioner as per the application submitted on 08.07.2025, in order to enable the petitioner to submit his bids through online mode on or before 15.07.2025 at 3.00 P.M, in respect of the tender notification dated 05.06.2025 issued by the 1 st respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner had submitted only a letter without providing the relevant documents, which are required for conducting the site visit.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that whatever documents are required for the site visit have already been furnished. However, the petitioner is willing to furnish one more copy of the documents to enable the department to conduct the site visit.

4. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to visit the site on 12.07.2025 at 11.30 A.M, along with the relevant documents and hand over the same to the 2 nd respondent. On inspection of the site, the 2 nd respondent shall proceed further to issue the Site Visit Certificate.
