(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.) Petitioner, mother of the detenue K.Selvarani, aged about 17 years, has filed the present petition to cause production of her daughter who is said to be in the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent, before this Court and to set her at liberty.

AP Detenue Selvarani, has been secured and produced before us by the 2nd respondent police. Petitioner, mother of detenue, is also before us.

Detenue informs of having left the parental home on her own accord. She has stated that she is now desirous of returning to her parental home. The petitioner, her mother, is also willing to take the detenue under her care.
