The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 302, 294(B) of IPC in S.C. No. 24 of 2024 before the II Additional Sessions Judge, Tiruchengode, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to non-appearance of the petitioner, the trial Court has issued non-bailable warrant and the same is pending before the Trial Court and the petitioner is ready to surrender and hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Since the NBW is pending against this petitioner, it is appropriate to direct the petitioner to appear before the Trial Court by filing petition to cancel the non-bailable warrant and if any such application is filed, the Trial Court is directed to consider the said application on the same day on merits in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
