The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 307 of IPC, in Crime No.241 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity regarding land dispute, there arose a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, in which the petitioner attacked the defacto complainant and caused grievous injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner attacked the defacto complainant and caused grievous injuries. He would further submit that this is the second anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner. Earlier petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed in Crl.O.P.No.19633 of 2022, dated 26.08.2022. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also the earlier petition filed by the petitioner were dismissed by this Court and that there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
