O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 02.09.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Anjali, Panchayat President, on the allegation of land grabbing by preparing forged documents. Though the said complaint was given as early as on 02.09.2015, till date no action was taken. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the complaint was sent by post and no proof is attached for the said complaint. If a fresh complaint along with necessary documents are given in person before the respondent police, necessary action till be taken.

5. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh complaint to the 1st respondent police along with a copy of this order and necessary documents to prove the allegation made in the complaint, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the 1st respondent police is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law.

6. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
