From the records, it is seen that an order was passed by the respondent in favour of the petitioner in R.P.No.22 of 1990. However, the Survey Number in the order has been noted as 139/2. The petitioner also filed a suit and obtained a decree in O.S.No.136 of 1999 for Survey No.136/2.

2. Having found that a mistake had been crept in the order passed by the respondent with respect to Survey Number, as it has been noted as 139/2 instead of 136/2, the petitioner made a representation seeking to rectify the same. As the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

Mr.P.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final hearing. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without gong into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.12.2015, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as the landlord within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
