Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus Calling for records of the 4th respondent having reference O.M.No.1889/A2/2007, dated 18.07.2007 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to appoint the petitioner as School Assistant in Government Middle Schools/High/Higher Secondary Schools and in School Education/ Elementary Education Departments and other Government Departments/Corporation for the selection made in the year 2004-2005 or for any other subsequent year.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the fourth respondent having reference O.M.No.1889/A2/2007, dated 18.07.2007 and to quash the same and to consequently direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioner as School Assistant in Government Middle Schools/High/Higher Secondary Schools and in School Education/ Elementary Education Departments and other Government Departments/Corporation for the selection made in the year 2004-2005 or for any other subsequent year.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent issued Notification on 04.09.2004 for recruitment to the post of Junior Graduate Assistant (now re-designated as School Assistant) for appointment in Government Middle Schools/ High/ Higher Secondary Schools in School Education/ Elementary Education Departments and other Government Departments/ Corporation for the year 2004-2005. The petitioner applied for the same and participated in the written examination and secured 112 marks out of 150 marks. The petitioner also participated in the certificate verification on 25.01.2005, however, he was not selected. The petitioner therefore made application dated 20.06.2007 under the Right to Information Act, 2005, for which, the fourth respondent vide the impugned order replied that the petitioner was not selected since the petitioner obtained his B.Ed. Degree in Special Education. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that during the pendancy of this writ petition, the petitioner secured the job.
4.In view of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication and the writ petition is accordingly dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
