The petitioners apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 85 of BNS Act, 2023 in Crime No.Not known of 2024, seek anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that no case has been registered against the petitioners. However, based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, the respondent police are conducting the enquiry and also assured that they will complete the enquiry as early as possible.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
