ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the FIR in Crime No.171 of 2023 dated 28.04.2023 on the file of the 1 st respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1 st respondent police submitted that the investigation is already over and the charge sheet has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagapattinam, on 10.01.2025 vide Ref. No.LTN20220002261/C20250023.

3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the 2 nd respondent, notice to the 2 nd respondent is dispensed with.

4. Since the investigation is already completed and the charge sheet has also been filed before the concern Court, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 2/4

5. However, the petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
