This Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking for to direct the 1st respondent to entrust the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2017 on the file of the 2nd respondent to some other investigation officer and to lay final report as early as possible.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, on instruction submitted that after completion of the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2017, C.C. No.178 of 2017 was taken on file before the concerned Court and as the matter has been compromised between the husband and wife, the case has been closed.

3. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
