counsel for the respondent/wife would state that the parties were living separately from 2018 onwards and that the appellant was also not interested to visit the child. Learned counsel for the appellant sought short accommodation. Therefore, the matter was posted 'for orders' on 09.12.2024. When the matter was called on 09.12.2024, there was no representation for the appellant. Learned counsel for the respondent was present and this Court directed the Registry to list the matter on 10.12.2024 under the caption ''For dismissal''.

2. Today, the matter is listed under the caption 'For Dismissal'. Even today, there is no representation for the appellant. Learned counsel for the respondent is present. It appears that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the case. Therefore, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the appeal for non-prosecution.
