Anbazhagan, v. State Rep. By The Inspector
Crl.O.P.No.3073 of 2016 K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.
The petitioners, who are arrayed as Accused, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for alleged offence Sections 406 & 420 IPC, on the file of the respondent police in Crime No.90 of 2014 and hence, seek anticipatory bail.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondicherry) vehemently opposed to grant the anticipatory bail to the petitioners stating that the earlier petition filed by the petitioners was dismissed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.20257 of 2015, dated 26.08.2015. He further submitted that the investigation is pending in this case and if the petitioners are released on bail, they will tamper the witness. In view of the above, the criminal original petition is dismissed. 16.03.2016 kal
